The
Apostle Paul said, "We preach Christ and Him crucified".
Above all else, Abundant Life Assembly of God is dedicated to
the preaching of Jesus. You will notice as you attend our church
over a period of time that we preach and believe in the
name, the blood, and the second coming
of Jesus Christ. No other gospel is preached here except
the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus said in John 14:6, "...I
am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father
except through Me." Since Jesus is the only way to the
Father, a Christ-centered message is essential and serves as
the foundation for all we do.

Balance
is vital to our efforts. In John 4:23-24, Jesus said, "But
the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will
worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father is
seeking such to worship Him. God is a Spirit, and those who
worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." We believe
in the baptism, gifts, fruit, and works of the Holy Spirit.
We also believe the initial, physical sign of the baptism
of the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit
gives the utterance. The full-gospel was evident in the early
church of the first century, and we desire the same presence
and vitality of the Holy Spirit along with the preaching
of the inspired and infallible Word of God today.

A PIONEERING SPIRIT
Abundant
Life Assembly of God was the first church in the Kansas District
to be established as part of a program called "The Decade
of Harvest". Most of the stated goals of the Decade of
Harvest were numeric goals for more churches, ministers, prayer
partners, and souls; however, one goal was that the Assemblies
of God should "return to a pioneering spirit"
which has been so important to our movement. Abundant Life
is motivated by that goal. We are privileged to pioneer
a balanced, Pentecostal church in Johnson County that will reproduce
itself around the world. Even in our early years the Lord has
allowed us to build churches overseas and at the same time purchase
land for our own facility. It is our vision to expand the Kingdom
of God by building more churches in the future.
